The original Angle was frequent and around 20 feet tall. It is located between Gentian Pool and the Kaleidoscope Group. Observations of this area should be made from the Grand Loop Road or the Fountain Paint Pots Trail. Activity has shifted over time to other vents along a common fracture. The greatest of these was 30 feet tall and almost as wide. Recent activity from a new vent has jets that reach 40 feet. |
